At the 2002 Milwaukee Irish Fest, Michael Vignoles was the featured pipes maker in the "cultural village" area of the festival. 

Michael demonstrated making and tuning reeds for interested observers.

A curious festival-goer took a stab at playing the pipes...

And did pretty darn well!
